UFC 120 & 121 Betting Odds
There is a ton of action in the UFC coming up in the month of October including two pay-per-view events. UFC 120 is going to be held in London, England while UFC 121 will be held in Oakland, California. Bet on UFC 120 & 121 at Bookmaker.com.
It’s odd to have two pay-per-view events on back-to-back weekends, but I can’t complain and will be enjoying the action all month. With these events and the Ultimate Fighter TV series set to premier, there will be plenty of UFC fights to watch in October.

UFC 120 Betting Lines
Saturday October 16th – London, England
The October fight I’m most looking forward to is the Carlos Condit (25-5-0 MMA record) vs Dan Hardy (23-7-0 MMA record) bout in London. Hardy will be fighting in front of his home town fans and should put on a spectacular show.
Hardy is coming off of a loss (unanimous decision) against Georges St. Pierre while Condit is coming into this fight after beating Rory MacDonald (TKO) at UFC 115. Condit will definitely try playing the spoiler role this month, but I can’t picture him defeating Hardy in England. If the fight was in the USA I may have to reconsider my wager, but since it’s on the other side of the ocean, I’ll stick with the home crowd favorite.
Other UFC 120 Betting Lines
UFC 121 – Saturday October 23rd – Oakland, California
This should prove to be the toughest fight yet in the UFC for Brock Lesnar and he may not leave the cage with a victory. Cain Velasquez is a beast that proved he can knockout anyone after he dismantled Nogueira. Lesnar should have the slight advantage on his feet, but both fighters have great ground games. Lesnar shouldn’t be able to mount and pound on Velasquez as easily as other opponents and it’ll be interesting to see what his game plan is. If Velasquez can keep the fight technical then I think he has a great shot at upsetting Brock in Oakland this month.
With all that said, I’m still expecting Lesnar to find his opportunities and use his weight & strength to impose himself on Velasquez. I’m taking Lesnar at -175.
Ortiz hasn’t won in the UFC since 2006, but he’ll be given another chance this month against Matt Hamill. Hamill and Ortiz should be a fairly even match-up, but I think that the younger Hamill might prove to be too much for the older Ortiz. If Ortiz loses this fight then there isn’t much chance that he’ll be back. The bookies clearly like Hamill in this bout and I’ve decided to go with him as well.
There is no doubt that the biggest fight of the month is the Lesnar and Velasquez title bout. Lesnar always puts on a good show and everyone is going to want to watch him and Cain. I like the fact that my picks don’t have a lot of juice this month as well, since there is usually so much juice involved in betting favorites.
