Louisville vs. Kentucky Betting Lines
The #1 Kentucky Wildcats (South Region) will meet the #4 Louisville Cardinals (West Region) in 1 of 2 Final Four games. The game is on Saturday, March 31st 2012 at 6:00PM ET and should be a great match-up.
The Wildcats and Cardinals met earlier this season and the Wildcats walked away with a 69-62 victory despite playing a poor game. Kentucky should be confident in this game, but the Cardinals will want revenge and to move on to the National Championship game.

Wildcats vs. Cardinals Predictions
Kentucky opened the 2012 March Madness tournament with an 81-66 win over WKU. Kentucky beat ISU 87-71 in the 3rd round in a game that was never really close. Kentucky followed that performance up with a 102-90 victory over Indiana in the S16 and an 82-70 thrashing of the Baylor Bears in the E8. Kentucky is riding a 3-0 ATS run heading into this Final Four match-up.
Louisville was in the tough West Region, but managed to make it out alive. The Cardinals started their Final Four hunt with a win over Davidson (69-62) in the 2nd round and a 59-56 victory over the Lobos. Louisville stepped up the defensive pressure and beat MSU 57-44 in the S16. In their E8 match-up the Cardinals found some offense and took care of business against Florida (72-68).
Louisville held the Wildcats to 69 points earlier this season in a 69-62 loss, but Kentucky played horrible. Kentucky only shot 30% from the field (17-57) and 19% from 3-point range (3-16). Kentucky was able to win the game because they got to the foul line 43 times, scoring 32 points from the charity stripe.

It was nice to see Louisville find a bit of their offense in the last game they played. I think the -8.5 spread is a bit high and I’ll bet on the Cardinals this weekend to stay within the point spread. I don’t see any value betting on the Kentucky money line at -465 and I think they should win. I may throw a small bet on the Louisville moneyline at +380, but that will be a game time decision.
In regards to the Louisville vs. Kentucky over/under, I think of the Cardinals defense keeping the score low. Against Florida however, Louisville was forced to score more points than normal and the game ended up with a total of 140. Kentucky will keep the pressure on Louisville with their offense and I think the Cardinals will need to score a ton of points to win, so I like the over of 137 (-110) at BetOnline.com.
