Ohio St. vs. Kansas Betting Lines
In the 2nd Final Four match-up in the 2012 March Madness tournament we have the #2 Ohio State Buckeyes (East Region) vs. the #2 Kansas Jayhawks (Midwest Region).
Both #2 seeds made it through their respective regions and I expect this to be the better of the two Final Four games. OSU and KU will play Saturday night right after the Louisville vs. Kentucky game (8:45PM ET). Both games will be televised nationally on CBS.

Ohio State vs. Kansas Predictions
OSU went through the motions in the 2nd round, but beat Loyola 78-59. In the 3rd round the Buckeyes played a much better game and they won 73-66 over Gonzaga. Ohio State beat the Bearcats 81-66 in the S16 and then beat Syracuse 77-70 in the E8 in order to advance to the Final Four against Kansas this weekend.
Kansas started the tournament off with an easy 65-50 win over Detroit, but the team didn’t look great. In the 3rd round KU had a slow game again, but won 63-60 over Purdue. Kansas then beat NC State 60-57 in another 3-point game in the S16 and in the E8 the Jayhawks reeled off an impressive 80-67 win over a Kendall-less North Carolina Tar Heels team.
The two #1 seeds in the East and Midwest Regions had personal issues. Syracuse didn’t have Melo all tournament and Kendall was got injured against Creighton. The two #2 seeds took advantage and will now play each other in the Final Four. OSU and KU haven’t played against each other this year, but it should be a great game.
I’m betting on the Buckeyes point spread at -2.5. If you don’t want to worry about the point spread you can bet the moneyline at -145, but in my opinion the Buckeyes will either win by 5+ or lose the game. I don’t think the point spread will be an issue, as the Buckeyes are the better overall team in my opinion.
Ohio State has Sullinger down low in the paint with Deshaun Thomas. Thomas can also shoot the outside shot and that helps OSU spread the floor on offense. Aaron Craft needs to have a big game at PG for the Buckeyes and if Buford has anything in him now would be the time to start playing to your potential. KU has Robinson, but no other players that have proven this tourney that they can takeover a basketball game on their own.
Kansas is a team that likes to set-up their offense and OSU does as well. Both of these teams will set-up half court offense for the most part in my opinion and I think the total will fall under 136.5. Kansas has had only 1 game this tourney go over 137 points while the Buckeyes have gone over 137 points in all four of their games. I think defense is going to be a priority in this game.
